By hosting the tournament internationally, TNSA strengthens the connection between Tibetan communities across the globe through sport, giving diaspora youth an opportunity to engage with their heritage and fellow Tibetans in a competitive yet communal setting.
The GCM International complements TNSA's broader efforts to expand Tibetan football beyond South Asia, including the historic first Tibetan U11 and U13 youth soccer tournament held in the United States in collaboration with Tibet FC Grassroots Soccer.
