Women's Football Camp

Women's Football Camp

The Women's Football Camp is a cornerstone of TNSA's commitment to gender equality in sport. The program was created to build a strong and sustainable pathway for women's football within the Tibetan community, empowering female athletes with the skills, confidence, and opportunities to compete at the highest levels.

The camp provides a supportive and professional training environment where women from Tibetan settlements across India and Nepal come together for intensive coaching. Participants receive expert instruction in all aspects of the game, including technical fundamentals, tactical understanding, physical fitness, and match strategy.

Training sessions are designed to develop well-rounded players through focused drills on passing, dribbling, shooting, defensive positioning, and goalkeeping. Coaches emphasize both individual skill development and team play, running tactical exercises that cover formations, movement off the ball, counter-attacks, and set-piece routines.

The camp serves as the selection ground for the Tibetan National Women's Football Team. Players who demonstrate exceptional ability, dedication, and teamwork are identified for the national squad, which aims to represent Tibet in women's football tournaments and international friendlies.

In addition to on-field training, the program includes mentorship sessions, workshops on sports nutrition and injury prevention, and leadership development activities. TNSA is dedicated to creating role models within the community and inspiring the next generation of female athletes. The camp covers all costs including training gear, accommodation, and meals, removing financial barriers to participation.

By investing in women's football, TNSA is not only building a competitive team but also challenging stereotypes and creating a culture where Tibetan women are celebrated for their athletic achievements.
