Team Tibet put on an impressive showing at the 3rd edition of the Climate Cup 2025, held in Ladakh, advancing all the way to the semi-finals before being eliminated.
The tournament brought together teams united by the cause of climate awareness, with matches played against the stunning backdrop of the Himalayan landscape. Team Tibet's matchday routines included traditional morning rituals that blended spiritual practice with athletic preparation.
Local Tibetan communities in Ladakh, including RTYC Leh and RTWA Ladakh, provided tremendous support throughout the tournament, making the players feel at home far from their base.
Though the team's journey ended in the semi-finals, the campaign highlighted the continued growth of Tibetan football on the competitive circuit. The Climate Cup serves as an important platform for Team Tibet to gain international match experience.
