Team Tibet competed in the Independence Cup 2025 held in Kalimpong, using the tournament as part of their ongoing preparation for international competitions.
The team advanced through the group stages and competed in the quarter-finals against Share FC. The Kalimpong Tibetan community provided warm hospitality throughout the tournament.
A meeting was held between TNSA Executive Director Jangchup Gyaltsen and Mr. Menla Ethenpa, President of the Sikkim Football Association, strengthening ties between Tibetan football and regional football governance.
